This sort of wunderkammer was in an antique shop discovered on holiday - I love globes and maps and how full they are of historical inaccuracies and tricks. For example a trap street is a fictitious entry in the form of a misrepresented street on a map - these were inserted into town maps to protect copyright so that you could tell if your map was copied by someone.  And the political aspect of mapping, deliberate and ongoing.
 
Each print is made individually by hand, resulting in subtle variations and a unique, tactile quality that distinguishes it from other printing methods.
